Eric Berry is on the Heisman hunt!

If you read this blog and not UTsports.com I applaud your efforts for the deepest of the underground news.. however, utsports.com announced the other day that the coaching staff and the school will be pushing hard all season to have Eric Berry named the 09-10 Heisman Champ.. The heisman voters havent given much love to the big orange in the category -

People are saying it goes to the offensive player, and that its rare for a defensive player to win the heisman... uh-huh.. they say its been 11 years since a Defensive player won the heisman! Right.. You know why a defensive player won the heisman in 1998? Beacuse Peyton Manning was the runner up, and the stooges that vote for the heisman weren't about to see it in orange.. So one voter said "lets vote for the defensive guy", and the other voter said, "we can do that?"

And that was the last time Tennessee had a shot a heisman and the last time a defensive back won the heisman -

So basically unless Eric starts taking snaps, running draws, throwing touchdowns, catching bombs, and also sets the single season record for intereceptions I dont see it happening.

But that doesnt mean I dont want it to! Go Vols and Go Eric "Record Breaker" Berry!!

Newest Vol in the Pros, Arian Foster's first Rc's are out!

I was lucky enough to pull both these, he also has several autographs in press pass, a letterman set in Bowman, and a manufactured Patch autograph in Bowman - Ive seen 2 versions of this one, one of the "T" and one of Smokey :D

My favorite piece of Memorabilia?

My favorite piece of memorabilia is also my newest addition. Thanks to Mom for finding a way to get Eric to sign this, and inscribe it :)

There was no way he was inscribing at the O/W game, so it was really a blessing that the line was 2,000 deep when I got to it -
"Record Breaker - Eric Berry '14 Go Vols!!!"

Thanks Mom and Eric :)
